Based just outside Galway City, we fly all types of models of aircraft. Some for fun and others for competition.
15+ years flying
With over 15+ years of members flying around various sites in Galway. You’ll usually find a bunch of us flying a dry calm day, granted not too many of those days in Galway!
Newcomers
Newcomers are very welcome, please get in contact with us if your traveling a fair distance. The gate to the site is usually locked up if no one from the club is around. Please use the contact form & we’ll get back to you asap.
Drones
Members also have custom & prebuilt drones flying at the field. Weather permitting of course! These models can struggle in high winds.
Nitro / Electric
Large mixture of both electric & nitro models flying at the site. Expert advice on nitro tuning usually available at the field.
Larger Scale Petrol
Some members break out their larger scale petrol models for a few flights. Plenty of help available if you need setup & build your own!
